Hypocrisy

Talk about big time hypocrite. The teacher is the same guy who comes up with the rules, and enforces them. NPCC Teacher in charge. Notice the ankle socks? He's given over two hundred demerit points already, collectively, for ankle socks.

Planned an escape today, but had till wait till 10+ for the NCC to start slacking on the other side of the road, and flirt with the girls. Lol, outran a few Sec 4's, reached bus-stop just as 154 arrived. Luckyness. Childishness didn't act up much today, but still, feeling childish nonetheless. Reika nagging at me again. Anyway, updated fiction and turned it into Cabal-fiction. Trying to stray away, but if all else fails... *shrugs* Oh, and I'm playing in Venus. Torn between online friends in Mercury, classmates in Venus and PK targets in Mars. Damn. Level 7 Wizard in Venus. Got a Battle Armor +5 from creeps.

That's it, then. Bye.

Pissed

Feeling freaking pissed.

Drama

Drama in more ways than one. The competition went well; at least I didn't die or something, though that rabbit costume, I really hate. Now it's over, I can look back and say proudly: I got 3 Chinese ACE for being lame! Also, we tried blowing up some bottles with dry ice, but the only one that exploded... Jeremy said "It's too small and hard, that's why it won't explode." Then he stuffed the ice in, capped it, and it exploded. Meh.

I've been feeling really lame lately; for some reason, I always turn into a childish Japanese maniac when I get to school. The sight of all you guys in class... makes me feel carefree; probably why I need people to travel around with me. Went home by myself again, without much chance at conversations with anybody. Shouted again and again for different lame reasons, but mostly to destress, lols. Feeling really bad now.

BTW, the biography was written by me.

Ayumi Hamasaki. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, 2nd October 1978, making her thirty this year; twenty-nine at time of post. Began modeling at seven to earn money; at fourteen, moved to Tokyo for further modeling, but due to her being "too short", those times weren't successful; soon after, she dropped out of high school. Dancing and singing at Velfarre, an Avex-owned nightclub, she met Max Matsuura; she rejected his offer of a singing contract, but due to his persistence for over a year, she accepted; however, finding the training too rigid, she skipped most of her classes. After Max found out, he sent her to New York for vocal training. When she came back, her writing (as in style, not penmanship) was so good that he suggested she wrote her own lyrics.

I really admire her. I mean, who drops out and gets so successful? Bill Gates is one, of course, but superstars are often very rigid on their children, for publicity's sake. Did you see Madonna's kid in the papers? She was wearing so much mascara that it was VISIBLE, and made her look like a vampire that lacked sleep. Honestly... Anyway, I've got plenty of things to do, for example, figure out why Cabal's game protection declares MSN and such as illegal programs. Will be back.

Dry Ice

Oh yeah. Well, as MOST OF YOU KNOW... I'm acting as this boy-fairy + pixie + fox thing. So, I'm supposed to be surrounded by a mysterious aura, and for that, Strahan got us dry ice. Dry Ice = Frozen CO2. Dry Ice + Water = a lot of smoke. Anyway, after the ICAS, we were laming around outside the classroom, and we got the idiotic idea of stuffing dry ice into Wei Yuan's bottle. So this was what we did, then we rolled it down the tiny corridor thingy straight in front of the back door. The thing exploded in like... 5 seconds after it was capped. Then we took the rest of the stock, and dumped it into the pond, again, outside our class. Bubbles were pretty cool, and so was the smoke. We're gunna do it tmr morning, so if you wanna come and watch do so; but remember, it must be before sunrise. Ima try to get some pics from Chun and Bralee, but till then...

Life

Well, this is how it goes.

The photo virus, as it's called, is, in effect, an MS-DOS batch file. For all those who don't know what that is, refer to an old computer, or try running Command Prompt. That black screen with the words thingy is an MS-DOS interface, that which was used to boot a computer and do all the stuff before Win 95 came out. Anyway, a person which's got the virus will purportedly be sending you a photo of whatever, in a Zip archive - a .zip folder. The zip folder actually contains a virus; the only OS's that have been able to prevent this thing from running or being extracted is Windows XP Service Pack 2, and Windows Vista. Everything else allows the program to run; the moment the program does, it sends to EVERYBODY online a folder, containing the same "headline" and asking them to receive a picture from you. If you accepted it, this is what you do.

1) Warn all your friends.
2) Download Eraser. Yahoo! or Google it yourself.
3) Install Eraser.
4) Right click the "photo" zip folder.
5) Click "Erase".
6) Do a system restore, just to be on the safe side.

Please, if the MSN windows says something like "this is me, and it's not a virus", don't accept it anyway. The "headline" always changes.

Okay, on to my own life.

Been pretty smooth today. I lived life as normal, talked to people, yeah. Was forcibly enscripted into the Chinese play, and now, I have to wear a dual furry tail, pixie ears propped on a girl hair-piece, white cloth for a robe, and walk among dry ice. Okay, that's all that's happened today. Blah, blah, blah. Will post further. Later or tomorrow.

Posted by Denunciator at 7:28 PM

Warning

If you get an MSN message to ask you to accept a picture of the person in a zip archive, DO NOT ACCEPT IT. It's a virus, and system restore cannot remove it. I'm erasing it now via special software. Please spread this message.

Current Affairs (II)

Hi! It's me again!

Oil Prices
With oil prices set to hit US$120 per barrel, it really makes me wonder; what the hell is everybody doing about it. Yes, I know I'm an irresponsible git, but all those environmentalists who are printing banners to protest... Banners are made partially of plastic, which is made of? OIL! What's with all the people out there talking about oil, we need to reflect on what we're doing to respond to this imminent crisis.

Another thing I want to talk about it Opec. According to them, they're gonna cut arms supplies to Saudi Arabia if they don't up their production. This does NOT make sense. SA is a big nation, and they need oil to sustain themselves; what right do you have to hold threats over them? Arms can be obtained from other countries; they have plenty. However, Oil cannot; besides Brunei, SA holds the most amounts of petroleum, be it raw or distilled, and if they cut supplies to the world, we're going to face a big crisis. So, Opec had better reflect on their words an actions before threatening other nations.

That's all I have to say for now. Will get back later.

Current Affairs

Mas Selamat
So, he's been on the run for... what? Since Feb 27, which means that as of today, he's been on the run for two months, discounting the fact that March has 31 days and February has 28. That means it's been 59 days. Singaporeans are busy blaming the government; I think that's just stupid. I mean, you sack all the people starting from the top ranked; what do you get? An empty slots, and new people will get elected, and so on, and the so called 'rookies'... will they get things right? I doubt so. Anyway, the SAF and police force are concentrating their forces on hunting him - they're leaving the blame till the end. Kudos to the people to have thought of that.

The Dalai Lama, Tibet and China
All the quarrels really make the people wonder, What the hell is going on?

The whole unrest has its root in history. On the 10th of March, 1959, there was an unrest, all for the sake of granting Tibet an autonomous government; China rejected, and the uprising failed. This caused the Dalai Lama to go into exile in India, where he recently emerged. Fast forward to now. An eyewitness claimed that police cars, fire engines and official vehicles were set on fire by the Tibetans after the police force dispersed a peaceful demonstration near a small temple in Lhasa. According to CNN, the police used tear gas and gunfire to break up the protests. The tension between China and Tibet increased after the city's three biggest monasteries were sealed off by Chinese soldiers and armed police. The police reportedly fired warning shots, used tear gas and electric prods to disperse protesters, in addition to detaining around 50 monks. Tibetan exiles claim that at least 5 people have been killed by police fire by March 15.

In addition, there have been international protests, apart from Tibet and China.

In chronological order
March 10, Monday: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The Consulate General of China building was stormed by several members of "Students for a Free Tibet", and replaced China's flag with the Tibetan flag. Some of them were later detained by the police.

March 14, Friday: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Three protesters successfully entered the consulate and tried to lower the flag; one of them were detained and later released after a negotiation between the police and the consulate.

March 15, Saturday: Zurich, Switzerland
Police fired tear gas at pro-Tibet demonstrators who tried to storm the Chinese consulate.

March 15, Saturday: Sydney, Australia
About 40 Tibetan protesters stormed the Chinese Consulate, resulting in the police attacking them with capsicum sprays and batons in an attempt to get them to stop; one plainclothes officers was attacked; 7 were arrested.

March 15, Saturday: Meghalaya, India
Over the past few days, Tibetans shut down their shops in protest to the Chinese crackdown in Tibet; hundreds marched from the town of Dharamsala to the Indo-Chinese border, to mark their protest against the Chinese occupation of Tibet. The previous day, Indian officials arrested over 100 protesters.

March 16, Sunday: Paris, France
Over 500 Tibetan protesters congregated outside the Chinese Embassy; one of them successfully breached security and replace the Chinese flag with the Tibetan flag. 10 people were taken into custody; tear gas was deployed to disperse the demonstration.

March 16, Sunday: The Hague, Netherlands
About 400 protesters tried to storm the Chinese Consulate; they succeeded in replacing the Chinese flag with the Tibetan flag.

March 16, Sunday: Tokyo, Japan
Over 100 Tibetans and members of a Japanese pro-Tibetan group marched in Yoyogi Park, shouting slogans of protest against China; this protest was originally reserved for the Olympic Torch run.

March 17, Monday: Munich, Germany
The Chinese Consulate was stormed by Tibetan protesters, who set the Chinese flag on fire and sprayed slogans on the front door; some of them read "Save Tibet" and "Stop killing". 26 were detained.

March 17, Monday: Vilnius, Lithuania
A small group of Tibetan protesters held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy.

March 17, Monday: Kathmandu, Tibet
44 Tibetan exiles were arrested after they protested outside the UN complex. Tibetan police used tear gas and bamboo poles to restrain the protesters; they insisted that they were protesting peacefully.

March 18, Tuesday: Rome, Italy
Several hundred Tibetans and Italians held a peaceful candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Embassy; nobody was arrested.

March 18, Tuesday: Sydney, Australia
Again, a large group of Tibetan protesters tried to storm the Chinese consulate; the police had to restrain them by force.

March 20, Thursday: Vienna, Austria
Tibetans intruded on the Embassy of China, taking down the flag and destroying property.

March 20, Thursday: Budapest, Hungary
About 200 people held protests at the Chinese Embassy, chanting pro-Tibet slogans, throwing rocks and paint sacks. One of the windows were broken; two people were arrested.

March 20, Thursday: Vilnius, Lithuania
More than 60 bike riders protested outside the Chinese Embassy, and demanded, at the Presidential Palace, for the governmental officials not to visit the Olympic Games' opening in Beijing later this year.

March 20, Thursday: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Around 200-300 protesters gathered at the Parliament Hill. The Canadian PM and some ministers immediately spoke out against the protests.

March 22, Saturday: Reykjavik, Iceland
Around 40 protesters protested peacefully outside the Chinese Embassy, chanting pro-Tibet slogans and waving flags. The steps leading up to the building was covered in red paint; three members from a political youth organization attempted to deliver a letter of disapproval. Nobody was arrested.

March 22, Saturday: Tokyo, Japan
Over 900 Tibetan exiles and Japanese supporters protested in Roppongi. Zenko-ji, the temple that was originally scheduled to be the starting point of the Olympic torch relay, withdrew from the plan, citing security concerns; it was then vandalized, presumably in reaction to its decision of withdrawal.

March 24, Monday: Olympia, Greece
A French activist managed to breach security and tried to unfurl a banner behind the Chinese Olympic's chief; he was quickly removed. Later, as the torch relay began, a Tibetan woman covered herself in red paint and lay on the streets, forcing the relay to weave around her as protesters called out "Flame of Shame". The government condemned this incident.

April 6, Sunday: UK
Security for the Olympic Torch was increased for fears of being hijacked, but a demonstrator managed to get his hands on the Torch, another one extinguishing the flames with a fire extinguisher. The trip was followed by a group of vociferous protesters.

April 7, Monday: Paris, France
The flames was attacked again, causing the run to be abandoned. The Torch traveled on heavily armed support vehicles for most of the time.

April 13, Sunday: Sydney, Australia
Chinese-Australian demonstrators took to the streets, protesting against bias in Western media reporting in relation to Tibetan protests. They also voiced their objection to Tibet independence and their support to the 2008 Summer Olympics. The NSW police estimated that around 6000 people attended the protests. News outlets in China reported around 5000~6000 people. English language media outlets reported significantly less; ABC reported around 1000, while Channel Nine reported only "several hundred".

In Melbourne, around 5000 Chinese students also protested.

Okay. Report over; now the reactions from the various people. Most of them have called for both sides to show restraint. Personally, I think this is retarded. I mean, the Chinese government can just let go of Tibet by a bit; the Dalai Lama has already said that he was just trying to achieve bigger autonomy for Tibet, and not complete independence. Why can't they just let go? Please~~~, China's territory is already friggin BIG ENOUGH, are they intending to build their country all the way up to the Himalayas? The next thing they'll do is start claiming Japan, then India, then soon, the ENTIRE BLOODY WORLD will be called China. I'm pissed. Just... use your brains, okay? The whole world isn't under your rule, the Tibetans have their rights too. So, just call off your bloody troops and discuss the matter over before taking any actions.

Tsuki no Curse

Finally found the lyrics after (pseudo) hard work; only have the first half, though. (lol, irony?) I'd been forewarned that posting lyrics is for girls, so if you want to flame me, feel free to do so. I shall be blind to those.

Moon's curse in this icy dream...

In a world with no words, I profess my love Until it will reach you, someday
The intense wish that fell from those lips That I held close with wounded arms
I wanted to unravel it for you
Because if I throw away the beauty Of our love that existed in the past
I can go towards a more beautiful night tomorrow

Moon's curse
From this icy dream I wanted to take you far away
How far can I go Until I reach a place where I can believe in love

By ways only a child who knows no pain can do
You close yourself off to the world
Your first words of love that you whispered at my ear eyes that hide nothing I want to deceive them
If I could hold you and know that I can keep you warm
I am not afraid of any punishment or sin

Moon's curse
We awake from the icy dream And I float aimlessly, connected to you
How far shall we go Until we gain the silence of love
Because If I throw away the beauty of our love that existed in the past
I can go towards a more beautiful night tomorrow

Moon's curse
From this icy dream I wanted to take you far away
How far can we go Until we reach a place where we can believe in love
Until we reach a place where we can believe in love
Beyond the night, just the two of us

*Blanch* I don't think this lyric is totally correct, but still...
Trying to learn word by word and memorizing the lyrics. What a pain. My parents should have let me take 3rd lang Jap. T.T

Fiction

Third post today, innit?

So, this is just a kinda project I embarked on, so imma post both here and on site of origin.

Chapter 5
The solitary orb on the ground shone. The sole producer of light in the whole room cast dim shadows on the walls of the gigantic training area, made entirely of parquet. The lights were off, curtains draped; I could barely see the old man standing beside me. "I have chosen to train you first because magic is not a strong aspect in Alexis as much was melee combat is; therefore, she can train Reika in basic weapon fights first. As your trainer, I must remind you that the regime is strict, and you must achieve good progress. If you can assure that, then we begin now." Considering my future paths, I nodded, and looked at what I could see of the silhouetted figure. "Pick up the orb, and try to dim the light to the point where you can't see anything." The small orb looked powerless, and yet I knew that this was capable of casting the strongest magic, magic that could lay a city flat within three seconds. The small crystal felt cold, even from a few centimeters away; when I touched it, I felt energy and something else flood into me; for a moment, colors flushed before my eyes, disconnected images flying around, as if they belonged to the walls of a subterranean vault I was zooming through. I could feel every heartbeat, notice every detail; it was as if my sight had become clearer. By instinct, I looked at the old man who was my tutor; there was a name scribbled, as if hastily, above him. The word read "Alcaster".

Standing up, I held the orb tightly and concentrated on it. I seemed to delve into my mind, reading through every memory as if it were a movie without sound; I could see the small island which I'd last seen life, the immense wall of water crashing down into nowhere. I could see the world tree, the fantastical, legendary creatures living in everyone. That was three months before we'd all died of an explosion, caused by the fountain in the center of the island. There was no heaven or hell; only nothingness awaited after death, and yet I was lucky enough to escape from that prison of eternal darkness. The girl I'd loved had managed to run from death as well, and there was a high possibility that the others could as well; my only regret was that I had been unable to stop the Bishop who'd destroyed the rest of the world. Looking straight at the old mage I used to see standing in the snowy land of El Nath, I sensed a familiarity, a travel back to the past. This wasn't the past anymore; I was now unable to wield even a sword, less to say a spear forged by pure dark magic.

Concentrating, I felt my eyes pound for a moment. The mana around me became visible trails, whirling around, dancing in auroras; the spirit threads surrounding the headmaster were blue in color; mine was jet black, barely visible in the darkness, but I was sure Arthur, or Alcaster, could see it. He appeared unfazed by it; perhaps he'd already knew who I'd been. Forcing the mana into my arms, I concentrated them in a ball around the orb. It glowed blue for a moment, and then, it was suddenly engulfed by the pure darkness of the mana; the room fell black. For a moment, I let go of the orb, and I felt strangely blank; then, when I laid hands on it just before it could shatter on the ground, I felt the flooding occur again. The burden is mine to bear alone. The voice rang out loud within my mind, before everything went black.

When I woke up, I was lying in the hospital wing of the school, apparently meant to be recuperating. The headmaster was sitting beside me, and his expression was solemn. I looked around uncertainly. "The training..." Arthur sighed, and said, "It was my fault. I shouldn't have made you do such advanced stuff yet." I was flabbergasted. Such a simple task, and I couldn't achieve it... I felt a something withdrawing from my mind, and I looked up at him; he added, "Do not worry; it was not your fault. In fact, you'd managed to get the task completed before you passed out. Something had gone wrong with the orb I let you train with yesterday. Rest assured, it will not happen again. If you are ready, then let us proceed to the next phase - manipulating mana in darkness."
__________________________________________________

Pulling back on the already tense bowstring, I sensed a force overcoming the bonds holding the string together, before it snapped uselessly in my hands. Furiously, I strung the bow again and sheathed another arrow; I was about to fire it when I felt a strong spell binding my movement. The headmaster of the school walked towards me and released the spell, querying, "Where's Alexis?" Upon hearing that she was gone, he looked irritatedly at the building next door, before saying, "This... you have the problem of pulling arrows, I assume? Your force is too strong for the bowstring to hold, and therefore, I'm going to teach you a method whereby you form a bow from your mana and soul, a bow which is essentially, to all intents and purposes, part of yourself. Beware; I am merely a clone of myself, who is currently coaching Alex due to him having uh... passed out. Don't tell him I told you, though. So, if you shoot me, I won't be able to teach you anything more." Putting a hand in his cloak, he retrieved a small crystal that looked like a tiny double-bladed dagger. It was about as big as my palm, and the diamond core and majority of the tip were violet in color; the remaining little parts were black.

I took the small crystal and felt my head swim. The pain was nearly unbearable, and yet I gritted my teeth, trying my best not to faint, scream or even utter the slightest sound. I saw lights everywhere, screams, shouts; strange growling noises and the flapping of gigantic wings. The memories rushed to me, and I let go of the crystal. Gently, it headed towards the ground, and hit it with a loud shattering sound; with that shatter, the headache was over. Arthur looked at me with a calculative expression, and said, "Pardon me." He waved his hand in a complex movement; for the second time in my life, I fell to the ground, unconscious. In the blackness, I saw nothing but the face of the boy that had pulled me into this adventure, who I'd helped, admired and liked so much. The face seemed to swim away, and the background turned from white to black. Disconcerted by this sudden darkness, I let myself get accustomed to the low amount of light. The back of a person was visible, in the distance; he had two wings, and when he turned his head slightly, I saw the side profile of Alex. He took three steps, and the left half of his clothes and the left wing turned black. Shocked, I looked on at the person who looked so much like Janus now; before I could make a single noise, the visions were gone.

Some time later, I emerged from the blackness, my forehead feeling really warm. The pillow beneath me was soaked in what I assumed to be my perspiration; my hair clung to my face. Brushing it aside, I pushed myself up, and saw that I was still wearing the same clothes as when I fainted. On a bed beside me, Alex was asleep, a small orb glistening on his bedside table. The room felt strangely cooling, and when I stepped on the marble floor, I felt as if ice was spiking my leg, but there was no pain; only a strange, calm, numbness. Turning back, I sat on my bed and looked out through the window; two sentinels were guarding the city gates, the stars shining behind them; I could see the full moon, halfway up the sky, illuminating the way for any travelers that might be wandering around outside. Sighing, I got up from the bed and saw that a small book had been put there, in addition to the crystal. Opening the book, I saw a few tabs, and the first one said "Crystals". Right at the very top was the one that I'd been holding, a Crude Crystal, according to the book. Quickly flipping across this section, I saw different kinds of crystals, and beside each of them was a picture of a bow, all of them intricate, all of them beautiful.
__________________________________________________

I walked down that infinitely long, but narrow path. What waited at the end, why I was walking, I didn't know; the faculty called instinct brought me on, spurring me to find the end of this road. To the sides, trees stretched, planted in no particular order, disallowing anybody to stray in more than three steps. The leaves that fell to the ground were orange in color, weathered, the trees preparing to set into winter. The autumn wind blew, causing the dead leaves to rustle and the living ones to flow along; I felt my hair being ruffled by the sudden gust, and stopped for a moment. I could see the sun, covered by sparse amounts of clouds; it shone down on the path, barely illuminating the way ahead. The path didn't wind, or curve; it stretched on, disappearing into a point right at the horizon; the same sight awaited me behind. All of a sudden, there were loud chirping noises, and birds took flight, casting shadows over the ground. There was an opening in the trees, at last, and I could see, beyond the small trail, four people dueling in pairs. Walking up, I saw a pair of twelve year olds and a pair comprising a twenty-year-old and a twelve year old, whose eyes were shut tight. One of the first pair charged an energy ball and fired it at the twenty-year-old; the energy that danced out crackled, jumping quickly but jerkily. He parried it with a hand, and cast something at him. The magic wasn't immediately evident, but an aurora spread over the battlefield, butterflies fluttering around the curtain. Maple leaves whirled around the couple, and the adult said a string of words in Japanese; there was screaming, and...

I woke up on my bed. The sunlight was shining in, and I found myself in the room I'd woken up in my first day in Atlantis. Uncertainly, I turned and looked at the small crystal orb, undisturbed throughout the night; this was the first time I'd come close to feeling how air-condition was like.

Walking on the streets, I gasped as pain spiked my stomach. This was the third day I'd gone without food, and my abdomen was burning with the acid produced by the digestive system. Groping the walls, I staggered for three steps before collapsing on the ground. On both ends of the alley, people walked, the human traffic never-ending; none of them even paid the slightest attention to this alley, who even noticed me lying on the ground. There was still work to be done, to ensure my survival. I wondered whether anyone had suffered this pain before. There was a whirring sound beside me, and a bunch of people walked out; the gangsters kicked me out of the way, and I instinctively leapt up. They had no time to react before they were kicked unconscious by me. Their pockets held a grand total of three hundred dollars; that'd last me quite some time.

Shaking, I tried to shut those memories of scavenging for food out. Orphaned at three, I stepped into the world without anybody guiding me; in this advanced world, nobody had time to spare for an orphan; I had to fend for survival, nothing that anyone else in my school had ever done. I resented that fact, and yet... I still fell in love with a girl who was born into a world with material comforts; I didn't understand how, or why, and yet...

Post?

This video was the first time I'd ever heard the song in; actually, I kinda disliked this song at first, but people change, as does time. The lyrics are kinda nice, and hold quite a lot of meaning. Will try to find lyrics to post.

RapidShare

Okay, so I wanted to get the source file for something I was doing. Fine enough. I source the download link from the net, dl it, and lo and behold! Rapidshare! There were no other mirror, so I had to dl from there. The stupid connection to their server kept resetting, and when I got it anyway, it'd ask me to pay for "instant access". This is utter rubbish; MediaFire works just as well, why does nobody upload there? I'm getting really pissed with RapidShare. Will get back later.

DPS

So, feel like writing some stuff down, but not edit that post. Too troublesome to fit this in.

DPS stands for the "Demerit Point System". Points are 'credited' based on offenses committed, and different offenses gets you different amounts of points. 5 points garner a call to your parents and a severe warning; 10 points garner you a suspension from school for an amount of time, depending on seriousness of offenses committed. Furthermore, repeat offenses may get you a trip to the principal; that's really bad.

A list of offenses:
1 demerit point

~ Absence from flag raising ceremony
~ Late
~ Highlight or dying of hair
~ Inappropriate attire or grooming
~ Long hair
~ No collar pin or brass buttons
~ Shirt not properly tucked in
~ Socks not covering ankle or not visible
~ Wearing of sandals or slippers without medical reason
~ Being a public nuisance
~ Consumption of food except finger food outside canteen
~ Disturbing the peace within school compound
~ Failure to return utensils to receptacle bin after use
~ Late for lessons/assembly
~ Littering
~ Non-compliance to instruction
~ Playing/rowdy behavior
~ Playing card games in school premises/in school attire
~ Refusal to do duties
~ Taunting, quarreling or scuffling

3 demerit points
~ Playing of computer games in school unrelated to curriculum

5 demerit points
~ Defamation / 'Flaming' of teachers or peers in online blogs or forums
~ Downloading of MP3s, videos, software or other non-distributable contents
~ Downloading of undesirable, offensive or pornographic materials
~ Hacking
~ Plagiarism or copyright infringement
~ Spamming
~ Unauthorised access into another person's account
~ Using foul language in email messages or websites
~ Absence from school without valid reason

I think this system is so not going to work, seeing from the blatant ignorance of them and breaking of some of the rules almost every other minute. Can't think of anything more to say for now, so... till next time, then?

First.

First post. New blog, new times. Either the skin or my download manager failed on me, and therefore, I can't change the skin; I'm too lazy to, anyway. So uh, nothing much I can say except brief you on my day.

Nothing much happened before dawn. Assembly carried on as normal, then we went back to class. Got 3 Chinese ACE for talking a bunch of crap. Nobody actually listened; busy chiong-ing History before the teacher came in. Nearly after school when this person who was in charge of our demerit point system and discipline in general came in, and asked four or five of my classmates to go out and write a report. He declined to give details, but according to reports, one of my schoolmates' accounts was hacked, and apparently, one of the boys called out happened to be in the com lab, and apparently, the camera "caught him typing in XXX's password."

Utter bullshit, if you ask me. A camera can zoom so far? The other people that were called out were part of the 'delinquent' people; their results aren't all that good, and their conduct not exactly perfect either, but that's no reason to doubt them. Friends got pissed at that teacher. Surprising, really, that I wasn't called out; I was recently trashed by my DC and ADC (like house master and assistant master) for 'hacking'. Another piece of rubbish. Don't feel like elaborating, but I'll have all of you reading know that I'm facing expulsion here.

Besides that, nothing much. Owned another few Sec 1's at logic, and learnt about the methods of advertising and writing a persuasive piece. Quite interesting. Logos, ethos and pathos; I didn't know about those until today.
